Hi there, my name is Peyton Nicholson!

I am an ambitious and enthusiastic theatre artist finishing up my Senior year at Missouri State University (Go Bears!🐻), where I am earning a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BS in Dance. Double-majoring has given me incredible opportunities across artistic disciplines, and I look forward to continuing my creative exploration and research across these fields.

Aside from my education, I was born in the middle of a blizzard in Kansas, but moved to the sunny suburbs of Texas when I was 7. This is where I did my first musical and fell in love with performing!

Obviously, I love all things theatre and dance, but when I am not working on a show, you can find me playing Jackbox Games with my friends, spending money on concert tickets, or logging yet another movie on Letterboxd - I watched 110 new movies in 2025! I am aiming for at least 150 this year!

As a performer, I prioritize freedom of exploration and love to dig deep into my creativity (and get weird) to create art with others. I am never afraid to roll around on the ground, and I am dedicated to cultivating a welcoming environment and working with those who share the same values. Art is best when it’s done together, and I look forward to opportunities where I can work with a dedicated and passionate artistic team.
