Hi there, my name is Peyton Nicholson!

I am an ambitious and enthusiastic theatre artist finishing up my Senior year at Missouri State University, where I am earning a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BS in Dance. Double-majoring has given me so many opportunities across artistic disciplines, and I look forward to continuing my creative exploration and research across many fields. Go Bears!🐻

Aside from my education, I spent my formative years in the sunny suburbs of Dallas. but was born in Kansas in the middle of a blizzard. I am the youngest of 6 children, and have tortured them with singing and dancing since I entered this world.

Obviously, I love all things theatre and dance, but when I am not working on a show, you can find me playing Jackbox games with my friends, spending more money on concert tickets, or logging yet another movie on Letterboxd - I watched 109 new movies in 2025! I am aiming for at least 150 this year!

As a performer, I prioritize freedom of exploration and love to dig deep into my creativity (and get weird) to create art with others. I am never afraid to roll around on the ground, and I am dedicated to cultivating a welcoming environment and working with those who do the same. Art is best when it’s done together, and I look forward to opportunities where I get to work with a dedicated and passionate artistic team!
